Ferris Bueller�s Ferrari for sale, WE SELL THEM. A classic 1986 movie and a classic car. There was only rumoured to be 7 of these replicas made for the movie and 3 of them destroyed during the making of it and rumours they may have been re-birthed several years later. The original design was said to be built on an MG chassis using a ford Windsor V8 to power the fibre glass body. The company that made these kit cars went on to sell these vehicles as kits after the movie was released and was soon after, sued by Ferrari for copy right infringements for the use of the Ferrari logos. The company went bankrupt.
These kits and all there tooling to make these awesome Ferraris, was sold and spread all over the United states. Lost to Chinese whispers of where they may be, we have now sourced them.
With only 55 ever made and only 34 with covered headlights, the original is fetching over 2.7 million US dollars.
After 2 years of research, we can now say we can offer this car for sale without the copy rights imposed. We are still in the process of the over all costing of the finished product and what dilemmas we/you would have for shipping a completed (turn key) kit car.
For legal reasons, we can not supply or fit� any badges or decals however you can do what you want.
